Transformer Reappears...

The vanishing transformer which was reported missing from the Guyana Power & Light (GPL) was found installed at the New Mall that was opened last December at the corner of Wellington and Regent streets and was subsequently removed.

And the owner of the mall Mr.Ganesh Ramlall, was MIA and couldn't be reached.

The police source said that Ramlall indicated that he had wanted a transformer to purchase and a man had told him he could get one for him. The man subsequently delivered the transformer. "Is why this so called prominent business never sit down to think where in the world this man sourcing his transformers from." hahahha

If you ask me though this Ramlall sounded suspect from day one. But I am not going to get into that now.

A Hot Mess -Teacher molesting a pupil

A 24- year- old teacher of Cotton Field Secondary School, Essequibo was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $ 200,000 when he appeared in court charged with carnal knowledge of a 16- year- old female student of the school. Mr.Steven Anthony, appeared before Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty at the Anna Regina Magistrates’ Court to hear his charge of carnal knowledge. Attorney at law, Mr. Haimraj Rajkumar, represented the accused, successfully secured bail. The accused was arrested last Friday by police and placed in custody pending investigations into allegations that he sexually molested a female student. And to add insult to injury the blasted teacher is married and is the father of an infant... what a hot mess. source

Worst Dressed

Celeste David wasn't able to be influential enough to win an accolade award but she sure made a statement last night in that "Hoochielicious dress" she wore. I respect Celeste and her work, I do believe she is a better vocalist and performer when compared to the likes of Timeka Marshall but unfortunately the media and the entertainment business in Guyana are very superficial when it comes to marketing and pushing artistes.

So now it seems as though Celeste trying as hard as possible to look as "easy as possible". Girl don't put your self to that level, the dress looked slutty as hell ( all y'all seeing is panties, belly and boobies). Rethink your stylist next time please and leave the whoring outfits for the actual whores in the industry.

As for Vanilla, God bless her heart, but that outfit didn't do her justice and made her look like the Real " BIG RED" .

Pictures speak a thousand words, so y'all can decide for your selves what this lady (who beat out Charmaine Blackman for first place for "A Hot Ass Mess Award" in our books) was trying to say. Money hungry "Sonia Noel"

Rumour (websites and close friends of both designers) has it that Sonia Noel, who was originally hired as artistic director- but to no surprise- shortly after being chosen she requested GY$3.6 M for herself and two other colleagues. The Accolade Organizers just booted her ass. So like always, Sonia's events always happen to fall on the same dates as Michelle Cole's , so it ain't no surprise when the Money hungry designer organized a show in Bartica the same day as the Accolades. WHAT A COINCIDENCE , that is just damn malicious. source

Nurse brutality.. call the Human Rights people!!!

A female patient in the maternity ward at the Georgetown Public Hospital last evening delivered her baby on the floor after she was reportedly neglected by the nurses who were on duty. " I keep telling y'all about government salaries, it turns even the nicest of angels into aggressive bitches, no lie"

In an invited comment about the issue, Minister of Health, Leslie Ramsammy confirmed that the nurses were indeed non- responsive to the patient calls for help, and that the hospital is taking the necessary disciplinary action against them. "I wonder what actions will be taken considering most of the time the hospital is short staffed to begin with, if they fire them , that means more work for remaining nurses = more bitchy attitudes. hmmmmm decisions decisions."

Eyewitness account: They heard the patient asking for help, the nurses simply refused to assist the patient who was crying out in pain. “ She was neglected and told that she would have to approach the desk if she wanted help,” the eyewitness said, adding that the nurse said “ We will see how you will get look after.” After hearing that statement, the woman in labour made a dash to the desk and lay down on the bed nearest to the desk; crying, she told the nurse that the infant’s head was already out. “ You have to wait, I am putting on my gloves,” one nurse reportedly responded.
The pregnant woman was then told that she would have to sit in the wheelchair to be carried to the delivery room. After insisting that the baby’s head was already out, the patient eased off her bed, causing her baby to fall out on the floor. “ I heard her water bag burst and the loud noise on the floor,” another pa tient said, noting that the infant cried for about two seconds then stopped.

Eyewitness account: The girl was then told that “ If you get a retarded baby then it will be your fault.” She was then instructed to pick the infant up.The eyewitness also alleges that it appears that the patient was beaten with a ruler when she told the nurse that she cannot reach the child.

Over recent months there have been numerous allegations of nursing staff mistreating patients at the hospital and many of them had lodged complaints to the media. The hospital has promised to investigate some of these claims, but no official word has been given in many of the cases. Maybe we should put the Human Rights people on them, in all honesty where are they now. I don't see them defending the innocent now, I really do question the motives of some of its members. But I not gonna start on them as yet.

A Sore Loser !!

Two men yesterday appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson for assault and unlawful wounding charges. Edson Noel, a 23- year- old conductor of Prince William Street, Plaisance, and Mark Hopkinson a 27- year- old minibus driver of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, both pleaded not guilty to the charges.It is alleged that on October 19 in Georgetown, Noel unlawfully and maliciously wounded Mark Hopkinson. It is also alleged that on Sunday October 19 Hopkinson assaulted Noel so as to cause him actual bodily harm. Noel told the court that on the day in question, he and Hopkinson were gambling (I thought gambling was illegal) and he told him that he was finished.

“ I de moving off and he snatch de money and put it in he pocket,’’ the man recalled.
“ I push me hand in he pocket and then he lash me with a bottle and I lash he in he face and he get cut,’’ Hopkinson, in his version of the story, told the court that he had travelled with Noel and had some money for him." I tell he that I going and get de money to give he and then I get de money and give he,’’ the man said.He added that suddenly Noel ran up to him with a bottle and hit him on his face a little distance from his left eye; he had to receive about 21 stitches.When asked if they are still friends, the men respond ed in the affirmative. Hopkinson said that he would like Noel to compensate him $ 100,000. However, Noel told the court that he only had a $ 19,500, but would get the balance until Friday. Hahahhaha. I wonder how this bus conductor getting $100,000 by friday.......... No wonder "Oh lawd I sure the judge will see his ass back in there for theft or soliciting drugs in the near future." I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Varshnie Singh a few years back, at that time she had just gotten married to "Old Boy". The location was at a mutual acquaintance's house. She was very polite, intelligent and eloquent however through the years it has been rumored, that maybe she hasn't been putting the Kids first, like she preaches. Tourism Groups Bump heads....

The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) are currently arguing over the rights of a Tag Line used in a tourism publication for Guyana. With the decrease in tourism due to the worldwide economic instability with banks closing left, right and center, our tourism institutions got bored and decided to attack each other's character and motives. I thought they all had one aim and similar initiatives. This doesn't look good, not even our hospitality groups can get along and they expect to lure tourists with this type of behavior. What a damn shame , no one wants to work together, one slips the others just look on.

Hmmmm....... this is when you know for a fact the designer ran out of inspiring, creative designs and decided to run with what ever came to mind. I don't know if she stumbled across one of her daughters bedtime books, but lawd only knows what in the world she was thinking when she made this outfit. Chief Labour Officer snoozing

How ironic, the Chief Labour Officer is displaying an unorthodox style of listening. I gather either he was exhausted from a hard days work, maybe he simply forgot he was not in his own office or the Minister's address was boring as hell. Well I am glad to know at least some one is working so hard in local government, that the only nap time he can get, is during a convention. lol I wonder what the white folk, next to him was thinking. How embarrassing..... he surely outlined what is happening with our labour force in Guyana, "over worked, under payed, exhausted, dwindling job satisfaction and next to nothing benefits." damn i would be forced to sleep on the job too...

Bandits love Ice Cream too.

What next Guyana !!! Bandits robbed an ice cream truck of $96,000 in South Ruimveldt. If this continues not even the young children will be able get ice cream delivered to their homes anymore. I remember my young days when I use to run behind the ice cream truck as soon as I heard the music slowly emerging in the background. But i have to admit, no ice cream truck should be wondering the streets selling ice cream at 21:00 hrs. What they trying to do, give the kids cavities and a sugar rush before bedtime. Lawd God !@@!@

" $240 dolla Robbery "

A nineteen year old allegedly robbed another youth of $240 " dollas" and was set on $30,000 bail. (ha ha) I keep reminding y'all our justice system like a big cesspool of shit. Now the nineteen year old assailant was later confronted by the victims family. And you ask, "How is that possible?" well the idiot was still at the scene of the crime liming with his friends. This youth should be put to do community service, clean drains, pick up paper off road corners, clean bins etc, plus slap his ass with a fine. Then he will think twice about being a bully and trying to rob the innocent regardless of how large or small the quantity of money maybe. Hint, next time consider asking them how much money they have first before robbing them. Sounds like the victim was more broke than the assailant, in the first place. Shame on him for actually taking the 240..... times tuff.

I was forced to watch this show the other day hosted by Megan Vieira. This chick is a hot mess. Somebody tell me why they have her wearing sunglasses on set , in the studio. There is no reason for that. Unless of course they are trying to detract us from looking at her over sized, enormous protuberance of a nose. I just keeping it real, some people think it is sexy. I think it may be a match up between Simone and Megan, who is the worse Host / VJ of the two. lol lol It should be interesting, one is a quiet churchie, soul songstress, with a talent for smelling things while the other is a pretty light skinned, in and out of town/man's girl, who is boring as ASS. What the F*** "Batty boy Gilhuys gets charges dropped"

So what the Government telling me, is " after a police officer actually executed his job accordingly, got shot in the process and now the person who shot the policeman in the BACK ,not even getting charged. " What kind of batty ass shit I hearing today. Like the more I read the papers today the more I getting upset. According to reports The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has recommended that no charges be laid against the judicial officer. I got to say in my opionion, DDP got to be a c*** , to make such a comment / suggestion. Is not their ass get shot and taken to the hospital fighting for their life.

To recap on the incident so no one gets confused, with the details and evidence in the case, proving with out a doubt the case shouldn't be thrown out . "On June 26, the rank and his colleagues were on patrol on Woolford Avenue when they noticed a vehicle with tinted windows parked on the roadway. The officers made checks and an argument ensued between them and the driver, who was later identified as Magistrate Gilhuys. It was at this point that the magistrate reportedly opened fire on the ranks, hitting George in the back. The bullet exited through his abdomen and in the process caused some internal damage.The magistrate subsequently made a report at the Brickdam Police Station but he refused to hand over his weapon. However, he parked his vehicle which had about six bullet holes, in the station compound. The magistrate then appeared at the station the following day accompanied by his attorney Nigel Hughes, and after spending several hours, was released on self bail. He also lodged his weapon at the station." They had enough reason to lock the Batty boy up. Please note I have no problem with gays, they are the best friends a girl could ask for. I just pissed as hell as to the handling of this case. And I don't appreciate undercovers with wives portraying a simply life when in actually is a "Dutty Life".

Guyana's cleanup campaign

Guyana's clean up campaign that begun a week before CARIFSTA.Had a humorous side to it.
While driving along the East Bank road/ highway two weeks ago, I noticed men diligently planting seedlings along side the center barrier. Now I not too sure if they expected them to grow in time for carifesta but they really and truly not making any sense. They better be careful the highway pedestrians ( cows, donkeys and horses) don't start to nibble on them. And the variety of plants, is also in question they look like suspect Bush.. I don't know how they expect people to cross these roads safely with big ass bushes blocking their vision. And it is only the other day they were quarreling about how many road accidents occurring on this Highway. What do you expect if the government putting obstacles to block peoples vision while driving, we already got pedestrians to swerve from everyday. Nice small, short, non bushy flowers would do the trick , if they wanted the place to look colorful and carifetaish. I just saying.....

"Rupee a Disappointment"

Rupee was a hott ass mess. I was so disappointed, I didn't know what to say or think about his performance. Lawd, he come out boring as hell, bussing one set of notes on stage, he start singing other artiste songs, and then he attempted to dance and looked like a white chicken in heat. Actually I retract that statement, he look more like a chunky ass white cow trying to dance. He packed on a few pounds since the last time I had seen him. Then to make it worse, he left his jacket closed the entire night, I know his ass was burning up like a pig in that outfit. Sweating bullets , he end up taking pictures with people and got a towel around him to wipe off all that sweat. What does he expect, if he got on a blasted winter jacket (zipped up all night) in the tropics. Rupee need to stop singing century old songs and start working on new ones. CJI Airport got " Blackout "

Wow isn't that a damn shame, this happens just when we supposedly welcoming millions of visitors. (giggles) Their logo is " The Gateway to South America" no lie , (lol lol) apparently the gate ain't got lights. Well at least we letting them know up front what to expect when they get into GT... no lights....Government needs to use their initiative and have a backup plan. Just imagine if this had happened just before an international carry (airplane) is scheduled to land/arrive at night, and the plane doesn't have enough fuel to go to another airport. What would they have done then, what was their plan B ? Hmm Good question. "They would have probably had all their staff with torch lights lined up on the runway, y'all know we backward." Aviation authorities should look into that.

Since we on the topic of light, maybe now the Government will look into this issue of light in Guyana. With endless rivers, creeks, waterfalls and streams, maybe now the Government will take hydro seriously... or maybe not. GPL wont be able to rob the poor man anymore. Take for example GT&T , Y'all see how yah GT&T bill , like half the amount it was a year ago before "The Digicel invasion." Good clean competition is always good. GPL need a good ass whooping and then you will see how they get themselves in order.

Gay Madness & Heterosexual Pride

A Straight Pride Parade will roll out on August 31, 2008 in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, just one day ahead of the annual Caribbean Labor Day Parade.

In a press release sent out recently by members of the reggae community, who have organized this event as a response to gay groups coming down hard on some dancehall music; the parade was justified as being, "...a chance for Heterosexuals to gather together and proudly embrace their sexuality. The Parade will also allow reggae and dancehall fans who are in New York City for the Labor Day celebrations to get together and celebrate reggae, dancehall and family in love and unity. Adults are encouraged to bring their children along for the celebrations, as the event will be family oriented."
Not only have gay groups launched massive global advocacies against what they call reggae's long history of gay intolerance, they have also been successful in hitting artists hard, in the pocket, by pushing for show cancellations. Their aim is reportedly to stop reggae and dancehall artists from promoting anti-gay violence, harassment and bigotry through lyrics. The release said further: "Gay friends and gay relatives must be left at home or worse kept in the closet." I just keeping y'all informed as to what is going on in the Reggae community. We should have known that those lyrics like " bun chi chi man , dead" not gonna fly in the US with all those gay folk running around. I still don't understand why caribbean people have such a low tolerance for gays, it baffles me because we all know, GT is filled with them anyways , might as well accept it. I prefer to let them come out so I know who is who. (lol) Because I know of MANY men walking around GT with wives and whole ass load of pickney and they still running after MAN. I just keeping it real.
