Guyana was featured earlier this month on BBC. The documentary, " The Lost Land of the Jaguar" apparently received fantastic reviews, some claim the documentary is the first to depict Guyana in a positive light. According to GINA, "Guyana’s unspoilt, unique beauty has once again received notice as the BBC has done a three hour documentary that is subdivided into one hour slots showing the explorations made by an expert team of international naturalists and film makers as they journeyed north of the Amazon into the uncharted jungles of Guyana." Caribbean Net News also gave us a small snippet on their site click here.
If you would like to have a look at the documentary, the team and photos click here very interesting, I recommend taking a look.

I live in the UK, and was very proud to see Guyana in such a positive light for once.
It has defineatly raised Guyana's profile and hopefully Jonestown will now not be the first thing british people think of when Guyana is mentioned.
