We just want to apologize in advance to all our fellow readers and bloggers who frequently visit our site, however both Sugar city and I are currently on vacation. We will try our best to continue posting but it will not be at our usual frequency. Regular postings will commence again in October. On behalf of GTkeepreal we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your continued support we have received over the last 4 months, so we thought it was only right to inform everyone that we will be on a go slow this month.

Bandits love Ice Cream too.

What next Guyana !!! Bandits robbed an ice cream truck of $96,000 in South Ruimveldt. If this continues not even the young children will be able get ice cream delivered to their homes anymore. I remember my young days when I use to run behind the ice cream truck as soon as I heard the music slowly emerging in the background. But i have to admit, no ice cream truck should be wondering the streets selling ice cream at 21:00 hrs. What they trying to do, give the kids cavities and a sugar rush before bedtime. Lawd God !@@!@

" $240 dolla Robbery "

A nineteen year old allegedly robbed another youth of $240 " dollas" and was set on $30,000 bail. (ha ha) I keep reminding y'all our justice system like a big cesspool of shit. Now the nineteen year old assailant was later confronted by the victims family. And you ask, "How is that possible?" well the idiot was still at the scene of the crime liming with his friends. This youth should be put to do community service, clean drains, pick up paper off road corners, clean bins etc, plus slap his ass with a fine. Then he will think twice about being a bully and trying to rob the innocent regardless of how large or small the quantity of money maybe. Hint, next time consider asking them how much money they have first before robbing them. Sounds like the victim was more broke than the assailant, in the first place. Shame on him for actually taking the 240..... times tuff.

Cambio Heist in GT

The cambio which was targeted is located in the same building as Chester Fries fast food.
The owner of the cambio Mr. Shameer Mohamed believes that the robbery occurred between Saturday night and Monday morning. According to him, the burglary was executed by a professional gang, because the thieves cut the lines to the premises that would have enabled a security firm to monitor the cambio. According to Mohamed, the burglars gained entry by using a blow-torch to cut open a heavily-grilled window in the top flat. "You know the usual mentality, Guyanese don't have time for months of preparation and planning, that is too much headache. Damn, so you know things are bad and times are hard, when a bunch of Guyanese criminals actually sat down and planned out a strategy before executing this robbery."
Now hear this, they master minds even walked with their own high-tech equipment to cut open this safe. Sounds like an inside job to me.

It still puzzles me how someone can victimize and rap a child. In Bath Settlement a thirteen year old girl, Kavita Panday was found dead at the side of a canal early yesterday afternoon. Police have in custody a 14 year old boy who was last seen with the young girl. These are very shameful circumstances, society has to play a part in molding youths and teaching them what is right from wrong. this little fourteen year old boy had to learn this sort of behavior (misconduct of women) from some where, it doesn't just appear out of no where.

Vybz Names his Condoms

Vybz Kartel's latest corporate venture, Daggering Condoms, are set to hit the market next week as the initial shipment of the prophylactics arrived this week. The condoms which are marketed under the tagline 'Playsafe, Ramp Ruff Till Game Ova!! ( Oh Lawd) The packaging is nice as seen above a cool black cube which bears the above mentioned tagline and Vybz Kartel's signature. I am not certain whether to be proud of his business venture or to laugh out loud. It was reported that Vybz Kartel will be attending a number of safe sex health fairs, to raise the level of awareness among young teens and adults about the importance of practicing safe sex. I have to give him props for that however I can not keep a straight face, the name and tag line of this condom is hilarious. It is embarrassing enough for teenagers to go and purchase condoms, now you forcing these youths to say please for " a Daggering or Ramp Ruff " please. (giggles) By the way Dagger some how rhymes with bugger, wrong choice especially if your customer has a tie tongue, it may sound like " wha deh prich fa a ddd..Bugga" I just saying. Garbage City GT (Private Sector complaining)

I certainly hope, today is not the first time the Private Sector has realized Guyana is riddled with Garbage. I was under the impression that Guyana implemented a law combating littering. I guess that went through the window like all other laws in GT. I have to commend them for shedding light on this issues, although I think the have ulterior motives. Jack of all Trades - Gerry (todays trade of choice is Chairman of the Private Sector Commission) simply wanted a free picture of himself in the newspapers, his usual scheme of obtaining free advertising. Morgan Heritage Show tonight

The Morgan Heritage and Natural Black concert is charted for this evening at the National Stadium. The white Elephant is getting a lot of usage these days, at least no one can complain that we not using the Stadium, it has become busier than the airport (CJI). The show will comprise of numerous artists BIG RED, X2, Natural Black and some lil man and Rajesh man.

I will give y'all the scoop after the show. I hope they not planning to come in at NO frigging 2:30 or else. I will get a bitch fit, guaranteed more than cans and cups will be flying on that stage.

Death Announcements . What the F***. Skinny on TV

I witnessed the unthinkable yesterday, Skinny and those other vagabonds got air time on channel 9's death announcement. Just because of that, "I am all for the banning of death announcements, now." Channel 9 really "Eye pass" all those people who died senselessly by the hands of these vagabonds. Just for a $1000 dollar Channel 9 would stoop that low. That is a certified HOT MESS. I don't understand how Channel 9 can give/show respect, reverence and commiseration to people who had no respect for life or the lives of others. These vagabonds just went around killing others for their own personal and selfish egos. It is unbelievable and I am very much upset and disturbed by this matter. It seems as though Channel 9 should also be investigated for harboring criminals because that is the only conclusion I can come up with, for them to exhibit such scoundrel like behavior. I know I usually criticize how the government handles certain situations but in this case, the Government should issue them a blasted ban, shut them up for a good couple months.

I received an email about a month ago claiming this petite little number is Guyana's Megan Good. So for my readers ego, I decided to go ahead and post this, since there are some similarities between the two. Carifesta poll results

The majority of you polled (44 %) felt that Carifesta wasn't worth the fuss and our performance will prove we are not ready to host such an event, and we are still lagging behind our caribbean counterparts. But amazingly enough (39%) believed Guyana was ready for an event of such magnitude since it would increase Guyana's exposure and tourist appeal. The minority (10%) were all for the event but claimed Guyana was not fully/ properly prepared for carifesta. The remaining few, y'all just damn confused. Regardless of what we think the president is pissing and shitting gold medals, he is so ecstatic about the outcome. Sounds as though he is surprised we actually pulled it off and no one was abducted, kidnapped, killed or hurt in the making of CARIFESTA and the stadium is still standing. (giggles) personally I was all for CARIFESTA, i have to admit the preparations going into the affair was mediocre and the executions of some events left a bitter taste in your mouth. But it came and went and I hope we use this as a learning experience and next time planning should start from day one. ( that very same day CHRONICLE started posting that blasted count down on the front page) 365 days until carifesta .. lol

Guyana Times dedicated an entire spread on this pickney, Keron Bruce whinning like a little bitch on the first day of school. What is the big deal, all kids create a big drama session, what is so special about this child, they had to waste an entire page. It looks as though he is related to someone at Guyana Times or they just didn't have enough news to print today, so they did "Abnah Babnah or Innie Miny Minie Moe" to select shit and print it.

Girl ( Tanesha De Souza) Drowns in Out house

It is a damn shame that something like this has to happen to a little child on the first day of school. Maybe now, it will shine a light on public schools around Guyana. It is a disgrace that little Tanesha De Souza of Kumaka Moruka Primary School had to lose her life this way. Things like this have to happen before government realizes the squalor and dilapidated states of school institutions in Guyana. What a shame what a damn shame. By the way Guyana Times the child drowned at 9:00 am not 21:00 hrs as report.

Gordon Gilhuys getting off...

Just as I predicted, this man "Gayhuys" apparently bribing this poor police man Mark George, to claim that Guilhuys didn't shoot him. This is some cock shit, something Gilhuys would know a lot about. Yes I said it, I totally had it with Guyana's justice system, because in all honest it is non existent. Now Shalimar Ali- Hack the DPP mentioned in previous articles, well known as "scunt", had advised (we know they meant to say manipulated) the poor police and he took the bait. According to DPP scunt " Based on the deficient statements sent to me, I found there was not sufficient evidence to institute criminal charges." (laughing non stop) This story now is being dropped because of circumstantial shit.
Reason 1 - She (DPP Scunt) said she made her decision on statements received from the police AND NOTHING ELSE. I thought you suppose to listen to both sides of a story, this already sounds a bit skewed.
Reason 2 - Scunt says " That George stated the magistrate fired a shot which did not hit him." Really maybe he didn't realize it because his ass was backing the man. Or maybe they phrased the question wrong the first bullet didn't hit him but maybe the second one did.
Reason 3 - The police were apparently in an Unmarked vehicle and George was not wearing police regulation uniform (meaning he was probably missing his bullet proof vest).
Reason 4 - The police officers were returning from a mission out of town. DPP scunt ( trying to indicate they were off duty) . However, if someone gets robbed and a police officer is in the vicinity I highly doubt he will refuse to help because he is OFF DUTY. Come on now, that is a lame excuse, what she trying to say to the police officer "his ass looked for what he got because he was off duty."
So if Gayhuys ain't shot him , the police man shot himself or his fellow officer shot him? The DPP scunty even mention the police were on their way back to Eve Leary , what does that have to do with anything. I hope Mr. Police Officer (Mark George) is getting a large lump some for keeping his mouth shut, because I ain't taking no bullet from no Gay batty boy, forced on life support and going under the knife for no pennies and F***ing dimes. I would advise this dude to get a proper lawyer and pursue the case. That is why we have ballistics tests, evaluating the size of wound, entry point matching it against the weapon in question... HELLO !!!!!! what is so difficult. Word of advise to all when in confrontation with Police, High Officials, Lawyers, Judges, Magistrates or Drug men or any one having ties to the above, please make sure to have audio and video to prove/backup your innocence and the authenticity of your story.

Ruel Johnson's Book Launch

Since his book launch was a total disaster. To be honest it came and went and i didn't even know about it until I had a copy of his book in my hand. Someone whispered to me of what a hot mess the launch was apparently the printer weren't finished printing so he was forced to launch the book without a book. So I decided to give Ruel some credit. We all know how hard it is to make strides in Guyana. So i do give him an A for effort. I haven't read the book as yet but I do intend to. Ruel Johnson's book launch was done on Sunday 24th August, the book is entitled Fictions (Volume 1). If you want to learn more about him the author Ruel Johnson click here. I discovered the price per copy is $2000, considering he is a regular at Oasis (with all the white folk) and has contacts with the publishing houses I am surprised his book only worth $2000 dollars. Hey Ruel don't sell your self short, you should price it higher than that, even school text books more expensive than that...... Dry Humper AKON and Side Kick

Akon started performing after 3 am, along with his sidekick "Muff Head". Because of his late arrival, the audience was promised an all night affair "party till the sun come up". Judging from that picture above, Akon looks like he getting cold sweat just thinking, if he got enough songs to last him till 5:30 am. We all know he probably has 4-5 songs and the remainder are all collaborations with big name artists. Maybe that is why he had Muff Head wear a kilt (skirt) and play with fire to distract the audience, buying AKON some time to think of songs to sing.

Collision in the Skies

Two airliners were one minute from colliding when one of the planes turned away from the other over the Caribbean this week, federal authorities said Friday.The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said it was investigating an incident in which a Delta Airlines flight and a Russian-registered passenger jet were heading toward each other Thursday north of Puerto Rico when cockpit alarms went off. The NTSB said the pilot of the Russian plane — a Transaero Boeing 747 — descended 200 feet to 300 feet to avoid Delta Flight 485. The planes were at the same altitude — 33,000 feet over open ocean — and were “60 seconds apart from occupying the same airspace,” said NTSB spokesman Peter Knudson.Knudson said the agency doesn’t have enough information yet to know if the planes would have collided had evasive maneuvers not been taken, or if they would have narrowly missed each other.The two planes were about 180 miles north of San Juan when the near-collision occurred at about 6:30 p.m. EDT. The Delta Boeing 737 — with 152 passengers aboard — was headed from New York’s Kennedy International Airport to Port of Spain, Trinidad.“This was every bit the classic near miss,” said Doug Church, a spokesman for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. Church said controllers in the Federal Aviation Administration’s air traffic control center in San Juan told him the airliners were on intersecting flight paths at the time of the incident.The NTSB said there were no injuries.There was no FAA radar coverage in the area where the planes nearly collided — as is the case over most open ocean. The NTSB says aircraft are required to remain at least 15 minutes apart when flying through areas with no radar coverage. Delta spokeswoman Betsy Talton declined to provide any further details of the incident. “We are fully cooperating with the NTSB,” said Betsy Talton.

Akon missing in action !

I told you that I would not waste my time with "dry humper" AKON. I was at home in bed flicking from channel to channel, I was able to take 3 naps (doze off) before bottles and cans started making their way onto the stage. People started to get unruly, i can imagine all those ladies in their fancy out fits and their stiletto heels, in agony standing waiting on dry humper akon since 8 o clock. I was informed by customs officials in timehri, that Akon didnt arrive until close to 2 am . Well it is a free show so what you expect, freeness is always come with some sort of catch.... hahah i will blog about his performance after I get in touch with someone who actually stayed to wait on his Black ass to perform or stayed up long enough to tune in on tv.

I was forced to watch this show the other day hosted by Megan Vieira. This chick is a hot mess. Somebody tell me why they have her wearing sunglasses on set , in the studio. There is no reason for that. Unless of course they are trying to detract us from looking at her over sized, enormous protuberance of a nose. I just keeping it real, some people think it is sexy. I think it may be a match up between Simone and Megan, who is the worse Host / VJ of the two. lol lol It should be interesting, one is a quiet churchie, soul songstress, with a talent for smelling things while the other is a pretty light skinned, in and out of town/man's girl, who is boring as ASS. What the F*** "Batty boy Gilhuys gets charges dropped"

So what the Government telling me, is " after a police officer actually executed his job accordingly, got shot in the process and now the person who shot the policeman in the BACK ,not even getting charged. " What kind of batty ass shit I hearing today. Like the more I read the papers today the more I getting upset. According to reports The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has recommended that no charges be laid against the judicial officer. I got to say in my opionion, DDP got to be a c*** , to make such a comment / suggestion. Is not their ass get shot and taken to the hospital fighting for their life.

To recap on the incident so no one gets confused, with the details and evidence in the case, proving with out a doubt the case shouldn't be thrown out . "On June 26, the rank and his colleagues were on patrol on Woolford Avenue when they noticed a vehicle with tinted windows parked on the roadway. The officers made checks and an argument ensued between them and the driver, who was later identified as Magistrate Gilhuys. It was at this point that the magistrate reportedly opened fire on the ranks, hitting George in the back. The bullet exited through his abdomen and in the process caused some internal damage.The magistrate subsequently made a report at the Brickdam Police Station but he refused to hand over his weapon. However, he parked his vehicle which had about six bullet holes, in the station compound. The magistrate then appeared at the station the following day accompanied by his attorney Nigel Hughes, and after spending several hours, was released on self bail. He also lodged his weapon at the station." They had enough reason to lock the Batty boy up. Please note I have no problem with gays, they are the best friends a girl could ask for. I just pissed as hell as to the handling of this case. And I don't appreciate undercovers with wives portraying a simply life when in actually is a "Dutty Life".

Fine Man, Killed..... Why this Biatch fainting!

Thank the Lawd..... this Fine man got caught. I reading the papers this morning and I could feel close to nothing, emptiness , no remorse what so ever for this man's family. He had created such a fear in Guyanese citizens, I am glad his ass is dead and gone, and we all know his F*** ass not with his maker. And what pisses me off the most is the photo of a young woman (who looks like 13) fainting in front of Lykens. Good for her ass, she should not have had dealings with Skinny, what she is feeling is not close to what those people felt when they lost numerous members of their family all at once.. Police should hold on to her ass and arrest her ass too for harboring a criminal. I feel no pain no remorse for this family, because of all the pain they caused hundreds of families around Guyana. Throw all those who knew and helped Fine Man/ Skinny in a pit and shoot them all . finish the story.. dont waste no time because I know I ain't want no returning saga or part 2 of this story.

Guyana's cleanup campaign

Guyana's clean up campaign that begun a week before CARIFSTA.Had a humorous side to it.
While driving along the East Bank road/ highway two weeks ago, I noticed men diligently planting seedlings along side the center barrier. Now I not too sure if they expected them to grow in time for carifesta but they really and truly not making any sense. They better be careful the highway pedestrians ( cows, donkeys and horses) don't start to nibble on them. And the variety of plants, is also in question they look like suspect Bush.. I don't know how they expect people to cross these roads safely with big ass bushes blocking their vision. And it is only the other day they were quarreling about how many road accidents occurring on this Highway. What do you expect if the government putting obstacles to block peoples vision while driving, we already got pedestrians to swerve from everyday. Nice small, short, non bushy flowers would do the trick , if they wanted the place to look colorful and carifetaish. I just saying.....

Online shopping ..hmmmm interesting

Word on the street and in the newspapers of course, that Guyana is introducing an online department store for shopping in Guyana. The launch (strange to make this an event) was held on Monday at the Savannah Suite of Le Meridien Pegasus Hotel, Georgetown.
The website will enable local residents and those in the Caribbean and further overseas to shop for their relatives back home, eliminating the hassle of packaging, shipping and clearing boxes and barrels and getting prompt delivery. "Now that is what I talking about."
Giftland Office Max proprietor carried out a survey and claimed "the survey also revealed that the retail prices for items in Guyana were significantly lower than those in North American, and on the West Indian and European markets." Hmmm i not too sure how i should take this statement. Maybe because half of the goods are assembled and made in China, hence cheaper commodities you have to obviously demand a cheaper price, not to mention it will break/fade/tear up in less than a month. Beepat going all global now, he better make sure that his business is legit and that the name (at least portion of it ) is not stolen from another multi million dollar company in the states. I smell lawsuit in the making......click here

I have to admit, I do read Living Guyana on a regular and they had posted an article it may have been two, about Guyana bootleg Naomi. And Bootleg Naomi always ready to pose for Gtvibes to advertise her services. Everybody talking about her but I ain't too sure if it is because she has jugs the size of grapefruits (and i talking them big ass grapefruits) or just because she looks like a transvestite version of Naomi Campbell. But for your viewing pleasure, you can decide for your self. Bootleg better be careful Naomi dont come down to Gt and assault her/his ass with a cell phone, everybody know her head ain't good.

Chinese man charged for illegal entry

Oh me goi, Mr Lei Dahai apparently entered into Guyana via Springlands, Corentyne. The 32 year old was charged with illegal entry and forgery. Y'all leave the man alone he probably just came to Guyana because he wanted to make it in time to witness Carifesta. Please be advised the picture above is not Mr.Lei Dahai, I just added it for theatrical purposes and to put a smile on some of y'all vex faces, this morning.

Mega Concert

Like someone heard I was criticizing all those "thousand and one," super concerts and they decided to be different and call it a MEGA concert.... Damn that's good at least they separating themselves from the crowd. So when someone says they went to the MEGA concert, for Carifesta you not forced to ask them ,"Which one?" like a fool. Anyways I not hurting my head to go and see NO AKON. All his songs sound the same , and after listening to about 3 songs i start to get headaches, from his chip monk voice. Don't worry with that innocent face, y'all know "Black doesn't crack" them Africans always claiming to be at least 10 years younger than they actually are.
