Reckless driving

Stricter rules and regulations governing traffic laws should be set in place. Public transportation workers such as bus and taxi drivers should suffer harsher punishments for accidents and road fatalities. With the advent of two lane (so called four lane in Guyana) highways it has become apparent that Guyana's drivers tests are not geared towards these advancements. With harsher punishments, tougher tests and better implementation of training, in my opinion it will help to eliminate senseless road accidents and fatalities. As for drunk driving, government should look into training police officers to identify persons who are under the influence and teach them how to administer the proper sobriety tests to these individuals. Not even in high speed chases do cars in the United States end up looking like the picture below. Come on , the government needs to look into these things.

I wonder HOW some of those drivers got their licenses in the first place.

You know, I've never seen one single road code book in any of our book stores.

There's this habit that drives me mad [pardon the pun]...if you take too long to cross a road, the one behind toots EVEN THOUGH CARS ARE STILL COMING on the road you have to cross.

Every bad bit of driving can lead to an accident.
